Chasidy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and is trained in TF-CBT.
I use a warm, non-judgmental and client-centered approach to therapy, allowing clients’ presenting needs and concerns to guide treatment. I specialize in helping individuals with processing and adapting to current and past trauma(s) and attachment concerns. I believe that each individual is different and unique, and therefore, each therapy session must be different and unique. I utilize a variety of psychotherapy approaches, including somatic therapies, mindfulness, and attachment-based family therapy, as well as more traditional approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
I specialize in working with all age groups (children ages 6+, adolescents, adults), individually or families. I also specialize in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
“I will not rescue you, for you are not powerless. I will not fix you, for you are not broken. I will not heal you, for I see you, in your wholeness. I will walk with you through the darkness as you remember your light. “ – Author Unknown.
